GHAG Report
On Friday night, for the first time in Balochistan, a terrible terrorist attack targeting Pashtun workers on the same pattern of Punjabi workers left 20 miners dead and 10 injured while 3 of them are in critical condition.
Authorities claim that the attack targeted coal miners in the Pashtun belt’s Doki neighborhood, which is close to Loralai, a place well-known for its superior coal. The attack also made use of grenades and rockets in addition to contemporary weaponry. On this occasion, several mining machines were set on fire. 3 of the injured were sent to Loralai Hospital, where their conditions are critical. The locals of Loralai, Pashin, Muslim Bagh, Kachlak, Zhob, Musa Khel, and Qila Saifullah suffered injuries and martyrdom. 3 Afghan workers died.
Sources claim that the TTP and one of its allies, the Baloch-banned group, have been engaged in activities in this area for a considerable amount of time. It has also been reported that this group is more than just a TTP ally. Rather, the TTP had facilitated it in Musa Khel and some other areas during a series of simultaneous attacks in different districts of Balochistan.
