In 2024, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had a record rise in terrorism. In tandem with this, security forces conducted unprecedented operations, resulting in the death of 203 terrorists and the arrest of 616 others.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the security forces have prevented 104 planned attacks, according to information from intelligence agencies, even though they have killed 203 terrorists and detained 616 this year.
