Peshawar (Special Representative) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was targeted by dozens of terrorist attacks this year, as a result of these attacks, 61 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police officers were martyred and 82 were injured. 15 soldiers of Pakistan Army were also martyred while 57 soldiers were injured as a result of various operations. According to a security report of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakhtunkhwa Police, in addition to these youths and officers of the police and Pakistan Army, 13 FC soldiers were also martyred in the terrorist attacks this year, while the number of FC injured was 33. As a result of these terrorist acts, 45 civilians have been martyred and 58 have been injured. Among them are 3 political officials or leaders who were martyred while the number of injured political leaders was 2.
