Goldsmith campaign Followed by Aleema Khan’s Peshawar Visit

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has accused the PTI of conspiracies, anti-Pakistan lobbying, and the events of May 9, as well as being the pioneer of the Goldsmith Campaign, claiming that in addition to overseas Pakistanis, some sections of the global media were also used through funding for this anti-Pakistan propaganda campaign, which falls under the category of anti-state activities. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur has been designated as Buzdar 2 by the Defence Minister, claiming that the CM is not only complicit in the worst forms of corruption. Instead, they are not even leading the province’s party and cabinet. He stated that the former prime minister’s two female family members are still fighting inside the party and that Gandapur has revealed a lot about the details of another game being played through Azam Swati.

However, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan expressed mistrust of the “dubious role” played by the provincial government and the party leadership. During her visit to Peshawar, she met with representatives and activists working to secure Imran Khan’s release, announcing that she would spearhead the effort herself.

After learning about Alima Khan’s visit to Peshawar, CM Ali Amin Gandapur and a few other ministers and advisors of the provincial cabinet reportedly made a concerted effort to speak with and meet with her; however, she declined to speak, even going so far as to declare that she does not wish to speak with “traitors.” To address this issue, the CM has also spoken out against Aleema Khan and in favor of him to certain PTI officials who share his views. Among these officials is Shaukat Yousafzai, a former provincial minister who has been assured by the CM that he will be able to be appointed as a special assistant or advisor.

Sources claim that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province administration has been engulfed in the ongoing friction between Bushra Bibi and Aleema Khan, resulting in the division of the party into two main factions. The provincial cabinet is dealing with the same issue, which has alarmed more people than just the workers. Conversely, they are becoming more and more enraged with the CM.

Reportedly, some sensitive organizations have taken significant notice of the idea that the CM and his ministers have been exploiting the names of key institutions to conceal their corruption. There have also been reports of “reprimands” and continuous contact for answers from some ministers and bureaucrats on this issue.
