Yaqoob Shaheed and Madadgar Market, which comprises 29 stores, 50 cabins, and a service station, are situated on police property in the district DI Khan. Rent payments totaling 31 million 76 thousand rupees were received in Fiscal Year 2021, 2022, and 2023.
However, 25 percent has been given to the Provincial Police Officer, 20 percent to the Regional Police Officer, and 25 percent to the District Police Officer rather than being deposited in the Treasury.
In a similar vein, 73,000 of the rent from the market that was established on police property in the Bannu area over a year has been placed in the treasury. Whether the 5 million 151 thousand has been disbursed or divided among the officers is unknown.
For the fiscal years 2021 and 2022, the provincial government provided the police with Rs.77.4 million in salaries and allowances for special officers. However, of this amount, 7.31 million was given to the police as salaries and benefits for the officers, and 41.91 million was unlawfully retained by the relevant police instead of being deposited back into the treasury.
The risk allowance of 1 million 132 thousand rupees was granted to the families of martyrs in district Buner in the fiscal years 2020–21 and 2022–23. This allocation also occurred in the fiscal years 2022–23, adding to the treasury’s burden by 13.7 million rupees.
