The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has announced a series of high-level appointments as part of its ongoing organizational restructuring efforts. The announcement was made by the group’s spokesperson, Muhammad Khorasani, via his Twitter account late last night.
According to the statement, the TTP frequently undertakes organizational changes to enhance its structure and efficiency. As part of the latest reforms, the group has reclassified the divisions of Peshawar, Malakand, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan as Wilayats (provinces). Each province has been assigned a governor, a deputy governor, and an intelligence chief. Additionally, new appointments have been made for the group’s military commissions in northern and southern zones.
