Army Chief General Asim Munir Meets Chinese Vice Chairman of Central Military Commission

Rawalpindi (Ghag Report):

Army Chief General Asim Munir held a significant meeting with the Vice Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) in Rawalpindi.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening mutual trust and cooperation between Pakistan and China.

General Asim Munir expressed gratitude to the Chinese leadership for their steadfast support of Pakistan, particularly amid changing international and regional dynamics.

Upon his arrival at GHQ, Chinese General Zhang Youxia was presented with a Guard of Honour by a well-drilled contingent of the Pakistan Army. He also paid tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial by laying a wreath in honor of Pakistan’s fallen soldiers.

This meeting marks a further deepening of military ties between the two nations, reinforcing the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership.
