Devastating Wildfires Ravage Los Angeles, Over 1000 Homes Destroyed

Los Angeles (Ghag Report):

In a catastrophic wildfire that has ravaged Los Angeles, California, over 1000 homes have been destroyed, leaving thousands displaced. Despite efforts by dozens of fire brigades and continuous efforts from emergency services, the fire, fueled by high winds reaching speeds of 160 km/h, remains out of control even two days after it first broke out.

The fire has scorched vast swathes of land, with approximately 20,000 acres of forest in Pacific Palisades and 13,700 acres near Altadena consumed by the flames. The fire quickly spread to the upscale areas of Calabasas and Hidden Hills, home to high-profile celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, and Billy Crystal, whose once luxurious properties are now engulfed in flames.

In response to the growing destruction, the National Guard has been deployed to assist in firefighting efforts. The fire has already forced the evacuation of 180,000 residents, and the number of casualties has risen to more than 10, with at least 20 people injured. Many others have been hospitalized for smoke inhalation.

As the winds continue to spread the blaze, helicopters are being used to drop water and chemicals on the flames, but the temporary measures have yet to yield significant results. Emergency services are working tirelessly around the clock, hoping to bring the fire under control and prevent further loss of life and property.
