Peshawar (Ghag Report):
In a series of counter-terrorism operations conducted between January 24 and 25, security forces eliminated 30 terrorists and injured 8 across three districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to details released by ISPR and security sources, a major operation in Lakki Marwat resulted in the killing of 18 terrorists. Meanwhile, an intelligence-based operation in Karak led to the elimination of 8 militants.
Another operation in the Tirah area of Khyber District targeted four terrorists, including two key commanders. During these operations, eight terrorists were also injured and apprehended.
Security sources reiterated that no leniency will be shown to any terrorist group. The operations will continue until all militant threats are eradicated from the region.
Sources further revealed that terrorist groups, forced into retreat and disarray, are now resorting to fake news and propaganda in a desperate attempt to sow distrust against the state and its forces. However, the public has shown unwavering trust in the security forces and is actively cooperating with them.
