Preparing Balochistan Police for Counter-Terrorism: Top Priority, Says Moazzam Jah Ansari

Modernizing Facilities and Enhancing Training to Tackle Lawlessness

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan, Moazzam Jah Ansari, emphasized that combating terrorism and crime in the province is a shared priority for provincial and federal governments, as well as law enforcement agencies. Speaking at a police-related event in Quetta, the IGP stated that the collective focus is on equipping the police force with cutting-edge technology, advanced training, and all essential resources to make it more effective and responsive to emerging challenges.

Ansari highlighted that ensuring peace and stability tops the agenda for both the provincial government and the police force. The federal government and other security institutions are showing extraordinary commitment to addressing the prevailing lawlessness. He further stressed the critical need to provide the Balochistan police with modern tools and technology for counter-terrorism operations, alongside traditional crime-fighting efforts.

He assured that all stakeholders are taking unprecedented measures to counter the growing threats, with an unwavering focus on turning the police force into a formidable line of defense against terrorism and unrest in the region.
