Rising Insurgency In KP And Balochistan

By Farman Ullah

Pakistan is dealing with a huge issue – terrorism. The government must come up with a strong plan to stop it.Many security personnel and civilians are losing their lives. According to a recent report, over 100 people died in terrorist attacks in February alone.

Most of these attacks happened in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. These areas have militant groups like the Taliban and Baloch separatists. They’re using violence to get what they want. There have been many attacks, including a recent suicide bombing in Bannu Cantonment. Another attack happened near Kalat, where a woman suicide bomber killed a security person.

Four security men were also killed in a fight with terrorists in North Waziristan. These incidents show that terrorism is still a big threat in Pakistan. Many of these attacks are happening near the Afghanistan border. The Taliban rulers in Afghanistan have ties with some terrorist groups, but not others.

Pakistan needs to work with Afghanistan to stop cross-border terrorism. But the relationship between the two countries is strained, making it harder to cooperate. Things are made worse by the fact that Pakistan and Afghanistan have exchanged fire along their border, using heavy weapons.

To stop terrorism, Pakistan needs to take practical steps. This includes educating and registering religious schools, creating jobs, promoting unity, and developing consensus among all stakeholders. By taking these steps, Pakistan can reduce the threat of terrorism and create a safer future for its citizens.
