Aimal Wali Khan Points PTI as Political Wing of TTP

Senator Aimal Wali Khan, the provincial president of the ANP, has referred to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as the TTP’s political wing. He claims that the two organizations have the same ideology and have been supporting and facilitating one another’s activities on all fronts. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, regrettably, has spent the last few years suffering at the hands of fanaticism, anarchism, and terrorism. It is anticipated that under such circumstances, the province will either have peace or be able to grow economically and socially. He said, speaking to the Charsadda media, that there are a variety of reasons for the turmoil in the province, but that everyone should be aware that the PTI and TTP share the same resources and facilities as the provincial government. Talking to the media in Charsadda, he said that there are many causes of unrest in the province, but people should realize that the TTP and PTI are on the same page and the resources and facilities of the provincial government are being used continuously for the benefit and patronage of them since 2013.

In response to a query, Aimal Wali stated that this was the first time in Pakistani history that the defense establishment was supporting Parliament in its fight against the judiciary’s “bullying” and that Parliament ought to have the final say and authority in such situations. He claims that the policies put in place during the times of Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Saqib Nisar are no longer effective and that the consequences of their actions are still being felt.

Aimal Wali claims that in 2013, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa owed just 80 billion rupees. The province is currently indebted to the tune of 1500 billion rupees because of the PTI’s corruption and the exploitation of its resources for the party’s founder and his political activities. Even now, the province’s resources are being mercilessly used to free Imran Khan and his political agenda. He went on to say that just the BRT project saw the misappropriation of 32 billion rupees. The present provincial government is adhering to the same program, and these billions of rupees were not only utilized for the expenses of the Bani Gala and other events but also for the next election.

Aimal Wali Khan’s manner and certain of his political choices are undoubtedly debatable, but his views on the TTP, PTI, and their proxies are unavoidable. The arguments that he has presented are similar statements also made by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in an interview with Dawn News. Therefore, it is imperative to give careful consideration to the issues, complaints, and recommendations raised by these two significant parties and to the necessity of obstructing the advancement of certain significant resistance forces.
