Experts Analysis on Ongoing Terrorism

Eminent experts and analysts have raised concern about attempts to create a divide between nationalities and bad propaganda aside from terrorism and extremism, stating that all stakeholders must work together to address these issues and challenges despite political differences.

Renowned journalist and analyst Ismail Khan in an interview with “FM Suno Pakhtunkhwa” stated that Pakistan is facing a significant security dilemma, particularly about Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. In this regard, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister would need to speak with the federal administration; nevertheless, he faces resistance from within his party and from the federal government itself as his rivals are in the game. Despite certain core issues, he stated that considering Pakistan’s current circumstances, the prospect of working with the Afghan interim government should be reconsidered. Security-related problems are quite intricate.

According to senior journalist Qaiser Butt, the chiefs of Balochistan bear much of the responsibility for the province’s backwardness and problems, but there is an urgent need to discourage those who spread hatred among different nationalities and defend the actions of Balochistan against the people of Punjab.

Anchorperson Hassan Khan in this regard added, “There can be no greater travesty than the interim government of Afghanistan denying the presence and patronage of TTP and other terrorist groups on its soil”, he told Suno Pakhtunkhwa. In addition to Pakistan, the United Nations and the United States have repeatedly said that Afghanistan’s territory is being utilized against Pakistan and that all of this adventurism is sponsored by the Afghan government. In response to a query, he stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government appears to be unconcerned with the security situation and is instead focused on corruption and appeasing its leader. However, the federal government’s performance cannot be described as adequate.

Journalist Iftikhar Firdous claims that while Pakistan is dealing with the TTP, ISIS, and other extremist groups, as well as the BLA and other similar groups in Balochistan, and the proxies of world powers, we are not seeing the necessary seriousness at the political and governmental level. Negative propaganda tactics and bogus news should also be noted by the state.

Salim Safi, an eminent anchorperson, stated that the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot be described as satisfactory in any case because the provincial government appears indifferent to the ongoing wave of unrest, and the federal government has also delegated its responsibilities to security forces.
