Islamabad (Ghag Report):
The Ministry of Interior has scheduled an emergency meeting at 3 PM today to assess the recent anti-state activities. Authorities are intensifying efforts to gather comprehensive data on facilitators and protest organizers. Reports indicate that all mobile companies have been directed to provide relevant records, while footage from Safe City cameras, social media data, and vehicle registration details from excise offices have been requisitioned. Law enforcement agencies and administrative departments have been instructed to present complete records to ensure thorough investigations.
The government is reportedly planning decisive measures to counter the recent attack on state institutions. Officials aim to set a strong precedent to deter similar incidents in the future.
Meanwhile, security officials have dismissed claims circulating on social media alleging deaths during protests due to law enforcement’s shelling. Terming the reports as “baseless and fabricated,” they stated that no fatalities occurred and no firearms were used during last night’s joint police and Rangers operation.
Security sources criticized the propaganda, attributing it to an attempt to cover up failures and shortcomings by certain elements. They reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order while ensuring accountability for those inciting unrest.
