“India is Behind Terrorism in Pakistan” – Senator Lieutenant General (R) Abdul Qayyum

Cases of terrorists should be conducted in military courts, said Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Qayyum.

The Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Qayoom stated that India is responsible for the terrorists in addition to vehemently denouncing the terrorist attacks in Pakistan and that their cases ought to be heard in special military courts in order to provide the terrorists with the best possible punishment as quickly as possible. Former Senator Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Qayoom made these remarks in front of a huge gathering of journalists, civil society people, and ex-servicemen members in Mirpur Azad Kashmir. October 27, 1947, is regarded as the black day since India entered its forces in Kashmir and denied the people the right to self-determination. He added that modifications to the Indian Constitution cannot take away the voting rights of millions of people in occupied Kashmir. Therefore, the Ex-Servicemen Society members vehemently denounce this as a violation of the democratic right. Senator Lt Gen (retd) Qayyum stated that the illegal changes to the Indian Constitution were also rejected by the people of occupied Kashmir in recent elections. He also praised the sacrifices of the innocent people of Azad Kashmir who live along the Line of Control and face Indian soldiers’ aggression on a daily basis. He emphasised that in order to provide exemplary punishment to terrorists in the shortest amount of time, the constitution should be amended so that terrorist matters are heard in special military courts.
