Interior Minister Claims PTI’s “Secret Leadership” Controls the Party Amid Protests

Islamabad (Ghag Report):

Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, has stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party is currently under the control of a “secret leadership,” which is overriding the party’s public leadership. Speaking to journalists at D-Chowk, Naqvi emphasized that while PTI’s official leadership does not want violence, the “hidden agenda” of the party’s covert leadership does not align with the interests of Pakistan.

Naqvi repeatedly referred to this “secret leadership” as the root cause of the unrest, suggesting that it has a significant influence on the ongoing protests. According to him, the official PTI leadership would prefer dialogue but is being overruled by this hidden faction, which aims to stir up chaos rather than resolve the situation.

The Interior Minister further pointed out that PTI’s protestors include approximately 2,000 individuals who have received training, raising concerns within the government. Investigations are reportedly underway to identify the background and motives of these trained protesters.

Naqvi’s comments indicate increasing tensions within PTI, as internal divisions appear to be contributing to the ongoing instability and protest movements in the country. The government continues to monitor the situation closely, with heightened security measures in place.
