Joint Task Force Formed to Identify Anti-State Propaganda Elements

Islamabad (Ghag Report):

In compliance with the directives of Prime Minister Pakistan, a Joint Task Force (JTF) has been established to identify individuals involved in disseminating misleading propaganda against the state and its security forces. The 10-member task force will be chaired by the Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and will include representatives from various key institutions.

The decision comes amid increasing incidents of terrorism and the spread of disinformation targeting the state and its security forces. According to official sources, certain malicious elements are engaging in this propaganda to achieve their nefarious political objectives, aiming to create unrest and instability in the country.

The Joint Task Force is specifically tasked with identifying the sources of such false propaganda, particularly in light of recent protests. Within ten days, the task force will compile and present its recommendations to the government.

This initiative reflects the state’s commitment to countering disinformation campaigns and preserving national security and cohesion. The government’s proactive stance underscores its determination to address challenges posed by propaganda and ensure that efforts to destabilize the nation are thwarted effectively.
