Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been designated as the new Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)

Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been designated as the new Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Lt. Gen. Asim Malik will begin his new assignment on September 30, 2024.

• Lieutenant General Asim is currently the Adjutant General of GHQ.

• Lieutenant General Asim formerly led an army division in Balochistan and an infantry brigade in Waziristan.

• Lieutenant General Asim was also awarded an honorary sword throughout his course.

• He has also worked as a chief instructor at NDU and an instructor at the Command and Staff College Quetta.

• Lieutenant General Asim graduated from Fort Leavenworth and the Royal College of Defence Studies..
