Pakistan’s youth are the future leaders, innovators, and game-changers. With their boundless energy, fresh ideas, and hidden talent, they are a dominant force. Pakistan has a young population, with most people under 30. This is a great chance to use their energy, ideas, and enthusiasm to make the country better and stronger.
At a recent Youth Convention, Chief of the Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir was inspired by the enthusiasm of the young attendees and expressed his optimism about Pakistan’s future. He emphasized the importance of independence, citing examples from around the world. He also stressed that knowledge is what sets us apart and that the state has a responsibility to protect its citizens from the divisive influence of social media.
COAS also acknowledged that life is full of challenges and referenced a Quranic verse that questions the idea of faith without trials. He pledged to support and nurture Pakistan’s most valuable asset – its youth – to ensure their potential is realized.
During the Q&A session, COAS addressed concerns about the Parachinar unrest, highlighting the local tribe’s efforts to resolve disputes through collective action. He commended the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their bravery in standing against terrorism, side by side with the Pakistan Army for 22 years. He expressed his faith that Allah would ultimately grant them victory over terrorism.
The future of this nation rests in the hands of its young people. When youth are fueled by passion and a desire to make a difference, nothing can stop them. If they put the country’s interests first and stand firm against every obstacle, they will transform every challenge into a stepping stone to success. Together, they will create a brighter future, where every hurdle disappears like a drop in the ocean.
