Rawalpindi (Ghag Report):
Over 1,150 individuals arrested during the PTI protest on November 24 were presented before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi.
The cases were heard by Judge Amjad Ali Shah, with prosecution representatives Zaheer Shah and Rana Saadat appearing in court. PTI’s legal team was also present to defend the cases.
The court proceedings, which involved detainees from Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal, lasted for more than eight hours.
The court discharged minors under the age of 18, as well as elderly, disabled, and ailing individuals from the cases.
The police obtained physical remand for most of the detainees, while others were sent to jail on judicial remand.
