Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has labeled the PTI as a terrorist organization once more. He has also declared that this anti-Pakistan and rogue party will not be tolerated for any activity or mischief during the Shanghai Cooperation Conference and that any such act will face even harsher consequences than previously.
In an interview, he stated that the PTI cannot be categorized as a political party and that it is unquestionably an anti-state terrorist organization, much like its terrorist ally the TTP. In response to a question, he stated that the PTM was originally founded as a peaceful organization to address the issues and complaints of the tribal areas. However, it is currently being used against the state in addition to using violence, so it would be accurate to say that these are two sides of the same coin.
