Two Bunkers Demolished in Lower Kurram as Part of Peace Agreement

Kohat (Ghag Report):

In Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the process of dismantling bunkers has begun following a peace agreement between the conflicting parties. The district administration confirmed that one bunker each in Kharkali and Balishkhel has been demolished. This development is part of a 14-point agreement aimed at restoring peace in the region.

The agreement, which includes the phased implementation of all points, was finalized after an Apex Committee meeting where the removal of bunkers was prioritized. The district administration has assured that the remaining points of the agreement will be addressed systematically.

However, the prolonged closure of the main Thall-Parachinar road continues to create significant difficulties for local residents. The road has been blocked for 100 days, disrupting transportation and causing a severe shortage of essential items, leaving citizens in distress.
